American Midwest Ballet participated in the “Dance for a Chance” fundraiser for Youth Emergency Services — an event supporting homeless youth — on Saturday, August 27th. BN ballet master Matthew Carter was paired with celebrity contestant Haley Herold, Miss Nebraska USA 2011, and BN artistic director Erika Overturff was paired with celebrity contestant Jim Flannery, head coach of Creighton Women’s Basketball. In addition to the celebrity dance contest, the evening included a reception, silent auction items, raffle prizes, and a special dance appearance by American Midwest Ballet. For more information, click here.
