Season 16 Starts Now

Season 16 Starts Now! AMB Dancers are Back in the Studio Making Magic

American Midwest Ballet’s 25 artists returned from their summer break this week, hitting the studios to begin work on our 16th season of professional ballet.

“I’m really looking forward to dancing, laughing, and creating new memories with my dance family!“ said Elena Carter, opening her ninth AMB season. “It’s always so wonderful to come back from summer travels and feel rejuvenated and inspired in the studio.”

The dancers already are immersed in daily technique classes, costume fittings, and rehearsals for Momentum, which opens the season October 18 & 19 at the Hoff Center, and the holiday favorite The Nutcracker, November 22 at the Hoff Center and December 4-7 at the Orpheum. We’ll wrap up the season in spring 2026 with Shakespeare’s most-beloved romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, April 11 & 12 at the Hoff and April 18 & 19 at the Orpheum.
