Dancers get their teeth into 'Dracula'

American Midwest Ballet’s professional company members and Ballet Nebrasksa II dancers are hard at work on the production that will open our second season: a riveting full-length interpretation of the horror classic Dracula, created by guest choreographer Winthrop Corey.
Corey, artistic director of the Mobile Ballet, arrived on Labor Day weekend to teach his ballet to the dancers. Rehearsals will continue under the direction of American Midwest Ballet artistic director Erika Overturff and ballet master Matthew Carter until Dracula takes to the Orpheum Theater stage on October 28. Tickets are available online at  Ticket Omaha or by calling 402-345-0606.
