OMAHA — May 21, 2015 — American Midwest Ballet participated for the third year in Omaha Gives!, a 24-hour online giving event organized by the Omaha Community Foundation to encourage philanthropic support of the city’s public 501c3 nonprofits.
The goal of Omaha Gives! is to inspire the community to come together for 24 hours to support organizations such as American Midwest Ballet. Although the event is May 20, donations may be scheduled at anytime and will still count toward the May 20 donation totals.
In in third year, Omaha Gives! generated donations from more than 20,600 people resulting in $8.2 million for 706 area non-profits serving the Omaha area.
