Know Before You Go:

Here are some tips to make your experience at the ballet an enjoyable one. And don’t miss the special “sneak peek” below!

Arrive early

Allow yourself plenty of time to find parking, get into the theater, use the restroom, find your seat, and read the program. The Orpheum opens 90 minutes prior to performances, and the Arts Center and Joslyn open one hour prior. The house opens one-half hour prior to the performance at all venues.

Duration

The performance is approximately two hours with intermission.

Parking

Because everyone is looking for parking at the same time, please allow extra time to find a space and make your way into the theater. See list of parking options at bottom of page.

Late Seating

To ensure an enjoyable experience for patrons, late seating is restricted. If you arrive after the performance begins, you will be seated in an alternate section until intermission.

Recommended Age

This performance is recommended for ages 4 and up.  If your young child becomes restless during a performance, please come to the lobby.

*A live feed of the show is available in the lobby at the Orpheum Theater.

Orpheum theater Entry Inspections

Omaha Performing Arts has asked us to share the following statement:

Omaha Performing Arts is committed to providing the highest standard of safety. All guests entering the Holland Center and Orpheum Theater will be required to pass through metal detectors upon arrival. Guests are also subject to visual and bag inspections. Lobbies open 90 minutes prior to events. Lines can often get congested with last minute arrivals. Plan on arriving early to avoid lines and allow enough time to pass through security and find your seats.

Restrooms

Visiting restrooms before the show begins may help you avoid the inevitable long lines during intermission.

*At the Orpheum, there are restrooms in the basement that often have shorter lines.

No Recording

Photo and video recordings of the performance are not allowed.

Our dancers typically greet the audience in the lobby after the show. You are welcome to take photos with the performers at that time.
