    Summertime is Dance Time!

    Classes and Auditions Heat Up July and August

    The AMB School has plenty of ways to keep moving during the summer. Our Summer Dance Series offers July classes for ages 3-9 and August classes for ages 3 and up. Our FREE Day of Dance on July 20 lets children, teens, and adults sample a wide range of classes in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and tap. And remember to register for auditions for community roles in The Nutcracker and our prestigious pre-professional program, the Junior Company.

    Our bold menu of brilliant dance features an exhilarating selection of individual works that showcase the variety of dance. The show-stopper of Bob Fosse’s award-winning Broadway musical Dancin‘, Sing, Sing, Sing is a crown jewel of the innovative Fosse style. A stirring elegy of profound love and remembrance, Ruth – Ricordi per Due was the final ballet created by Joffrey Ballet co-founder Gerald Arpino and widely considered one of his finest works. Erika Overturff’s captivating Appalachian Song explores the heritage of the Appalachian region as told through the music of its people, weaving together life’s struggles and celebrations through stories of love, humor, heartache, loss, and perseverance.
