Community Audition Opportunities

Coming: A Midsummer Night’s Dream community auditions

Your next opportunity to audition for community roles will be in January 2026, for American Midwest Ballet’s magical production of Oskar Antunez’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Auditions will be January 10, with initial costume fittings January 24; you must be able to attend both dates. Pre-registration will be required – watch this page for information!

Register Now for Nutcracker Community Auditions

Registration is open NOW for auditions for our Season 16 production of the world’s favorite holiday ballet, The Nutcracker!

Performances will be November 22 and 23 at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs, and December 5 – 7 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha.

Roles will be available for dancers age 9 and up. Pre-registration is required.

Auditions will be Saturday, August 2, and fittings Saturday, August 9. You must attend both dates. Audition times will be on the registration form.
