The company performs a mix of classical and contemporary works by both its artistic staff and a roster of renowned guests.

A typical season includes three mainstage productions – a mixed-repertory program, The Nutcracker, and a full-length ballet – as well as touring throughout the region and beyond.

How to apply:

Auditions for professional dancers are by invitation only. Interested dancers should email the following materials to audition@amballet.org:

• Current resumé with 3 professional references
• Head shot
• Dance photo
• A short audition video including a classical variation, partnering, adagio in the center, pirouettes, petit allegro with battu jumps and grand allegro. 
• Include performance footage if available.
• Please do not submit barre work.

After the artistic staff has reviewed the audition materials, selected dancers will be invited to Council Bluffs, IA (USA) for an in-person audition at our studios located at 1001 S 6th St Council Bluffs, IA 51501.
